SV	En de kinderen Israels hadden de zaken, die niet recht zijn, tegen den HEERE, hun God, bemanteld; en hadden zich hoogten gebouwd in al hun steden, van den wachttoren af tot de vaste steden toe.
WLC	וַיְחַפְּא֣וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל דְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־כֵ֔ן עַל־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּבְנ֨וּ לָהֶ֤ם בָּמֹות֙ בְּכָל־עָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם מִמִּגְדַּ֥ל נֹוצְרִ֖ים עַד־עִ֥יר מִבְצָֽר׃
Trans.	wayəḥapə’û ḇənê-yiśərā’ēl dəḇārîm ’ăšer lō’-ḵēn ‘al-JHWH ’ĕlōhêhem wayyiḇənû lâem bāmwōṯ bəḵāl-‘ārêhem mimmiḡədal nwōṣərîm ‘aḏ-‘îr miḇəṣār:

AC	ט ויחפאו בני ישראל דברים אשר לא כן על יהוה אלהיהם ויבנו להם במות בכל עריהם ממגדל נוצרים עד עיר מבצר
ASV	And the children of Israel did secretly things that were not right against Jehovah their God: and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fortified city;
